Marlo Spritzer
Program Coordinator & Consultant
Marlo Spritzer (she/her) began her career in the marching arts at Stroudsburg HS and went on to perform with several groups including the Reading Buccaneers, Threshold Winter Guard, and Field of View Winter Guard. Since then, Marlo has served as consultant, technician, designer, and director for a number of award-winning scholastic and independent color guards from novice to world class, including WGI finalists North Warren High School (1989-94), and Field of View Winter Guard (1994-96, 2009-17), as well as Classics Colorguard (2018-20). In 2022, she was honored to be inducted into the Field of View Hall of Fame. Marlo believes in providing an educational and inclusive space where all performers can be themselves as they learn and grow. She currently resides in Saylorsburg PA and works full-time as a high school English teacher, as well as part-time as a marching band and colorguard adjudicator.

Brian Simão Rosa
Designer & Choreographer
Brian Simão Rosa (he/they) began his colorguard career at Bridgewater-Raritan HS, and went on to perform with a variety of ensembles over the last 16 years, most recently the Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps and Fusion Winterguard. He has also instructed and choreographed for several winter guard programs including Penncrest HS, Middletown HS, and Bridgewater-Raritan HS. This summer, Brian was honored to participate in the 2025 Bluecoats Fellowship program, with an emphasis on choreography, and he is excited to join the Moxie staff. His teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel welcomed and valued in the space they occupy. Brian currently resides in Hillsborough NJ and works full-time as a high school biology teacher.

Devon Wolfe
Weapons Technician
Devon Wolfe (he/him) started his career in the marching arts as a member of the Southern Lehigh Marching Band, where he played trumpet before joining the colorguard. He went on to perform in the colorguard at the Reading Buccaneers (2016, 2022), and Jersey Surf (2019), as well as the Classics Indoor Colorguard (2018-2020). Devon was the assistant colorguard instructor at Southern Lehigh High School from 2016-2025, and choreographer for Moxie Guard in 2024. He believes in promoting an encouraging environment where mistakes are not failures, but opportunities for learning and growth. Devon currently resides in Philadelphia and works full time as a spa director.

Molly Knapper
Flag Technician
Molly Knapper (she/her) started her colorguard career in eighth grade, spinning with both the Governor Mifflin Indoor Guard and Marching Band programs. She had the privilege of performing with the Classics Colorguard in 2019 and 2020. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, walking her dog Penny, and going to national parks. Molly believes in supporting her students in exploring the things they are passionate about, and she is excited to see the members of Moxie Guard grow professionally, emotionally, and mentally throughout the season. Molly resides in Reading PA and works full-time as a fifth-grade English Language Arts teacher.

Jay McCarroll
Visual Design Consultant
Jay McCarroll (he/him) grew up in the marching arts, getting his start at Lake Lehman HS in the marching band and indoor guard. He went on to perform with world class finalist Field of View Winter Guard from 1994-1996, and returned to Field of View as a designer from 2010-2017. Jay studied fashion design in Philadelphia and London, England, and is most well-known as the Season 1 winner of Project Runway. He spent several years teaching fashion design at Thomas Jefferson University and working in the costume department on Broadway. Jay currently resides in New York City and works in costuming for various television and film projects.
