
ABOUT
Moxie Guard is an Independent Guard based out of the Lehigh Valley area in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. It was established and obtained its 501(c)3 status in 2018. Moxie is looking to enrich the lives of our youth (ages 12-22), where our dream is to create an environment for performers to achieve their maximum potential with a base in quality training for each member that passes through.
Moxie’s mission is to passionately educate, uplift, and raise good human beings through performance arts activities and competitive events. We will strive to achieve team goals through good communication, healthy relationships, and a fun, nurturing, positive environment. Confidence will be built on the fundamentals of compassion, gratitude, grace, and community.

Moxie turned heads during our first season in 2019, placing first at both the Tournament Indoor Association Region 2 Championships as well as in the Atlantic Coast Championship (TIA ACC) in the Independent Regional A class. Moxie repeated this same accomplishment in 2022, after being restricted to compete for a season and a half, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Moxie got promoted to the Intermediate class for 2023.

Spin Clinic Instructors
MARLO

Marlo Spritzer (she/her) began her career in the marching arts at Stroudsburg High School and brings decades of knowledge and experience in color guard and education to her role as an instructor and adjudicator. Her performing experience includes Ascension Indoor Guard, Threshold Winter Guard, Reading Buccaneers, and Field of View Winter Guard. Since then, Marlo has served as consultant, technician, designer, and director for a number of award-winning scholastic and independent color guards from novice to world class, including WGI Scholastic A finalist North Warren High School, WGI World Class and Open Class finalist and bronze medalist Field of View Winter Guard, and most recently, Classics Colorguard. In 2022, Marlo was inducted as a member of the Field of View Hall of Fame. She is currently the colorguard director at Southern Lehigh High School, where she is a full-time English teacher, and also serves as a marching band and colorguard adjudicator for USBands, Mid Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) and WGASC. Marlo believes in providing an educational and inclusive space where all performers can be themselves as they learn and grow.
BRIAN

Brian Simão Rosa (he/they) is a science educator from Hillsborough, New Jersey, with a passion for both science and the performing arts. His colorguard career began at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, and over the past 16 years, he has performed with various ensembles including West Chester University Golden Rams Marching Band, Hawthorne Caballeros, Reading Buccaneers, Field of View, Alter Ego, AMP, and most recently Fusion Winterguard. In addition to performing, Brian has worked as a technician and choreographer with several winter guard programs including Penncrest High School, Middletown High School, Bridgewater-Raritan High School, and Somerville High School. In 2025, Brian participated in the Bluecoats Fellowship honors program, with an emphasis on choreography. Whether in a science classroom or at a color guard rehearsal, Brian's teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel welcomed and valued in the space they occupy.
GEORGI

Georgi Ulrich (she/they) began her performing career at Cumberland Valley High School, where she spun with both the indoor and outdoor colorguards. She went on to perform with the West Chester University Marching Band, the Hawthorne Caballeros, and the Reading Buccaneers drum and bugle corps. Georgi has performed with several winter guards including Field of View A, Field of View World, and most recently AMP World. She looks forward to the opportunity to perform again in the future! As an instructor, Georgi believes in creating an environment where members can feel comfortable asking for help, encouraging people to be themselves, and finding a balance of fun and productivity. She strives to keep the love for the activity alive by providing a safe space for all.
